The Rance Story
Since 1795, the Rance family has dedicated itself to the development of the finest bath and body products, which historically were favored by Napoleon. Originally founded in Grasse by Francois Ranc , this family owned perfume house now operates in Milan. Each generation continues the Ranc family tradition of utilizing only the highest quality flowers, cultivated in the Grasse countryside, to produce extracts, distilled flower waters, cologne waters, perfumed creams, soaps and aromatherapy products. Ranc is available in 17 countries throughout the world and most recently the United States
The Rance dynasty, one of oldest families of perfumers in the world, has revived two precious fragrances that the family founder Francois Rance dedicated to Napoleon Bonaparte and Josephine, his faithful consort, more than two hundred years ago. Both fragrances are derived from the original compositions as specified by Napoleon to Francois Rance.
